It is one of the most disputed land too as it shares boundaries with sevaral countries like - Bhutan, Mayanmar and China. Tawang is a beautiful town located inside Arunachal and very near to the border of China. Apart from the mesmerizing beauty of the snow clad mountains, tawang is home to the 17th centuary Tawang Monastery which is itself a wonder. Route plan - One thing to remember that you need a special permit to enter Arunachal Pradesh as it is a restricted place. Before start your journey get the permit done from nearest Arunachal Pradesh Bhavan or their government tourism offices (passport size photos and xerox of id's required along with purpose of visit).
